Since her party colleagues intended to build on sites she wanted to protect and then ended up in Court for an 'unlawful' policy she supported, she has been understandably quiet on the issue for of housing, until the other week here
It appears she is opposed to building sufficient homes to meet the needs of local people and certainly doesn't want to extend building to meet the needs of not so local people who want to come here just to get employment.
A great intervention from our local MP who was born in Wolverhampton and migrated to Basingstoke in about 2003 for employment reasons as it was a Tory safe seat where the MP was standing down. This of course is an MP who had two homes (and may still have) within 30 odd miles of each other at the time of the expenses scandal.
Telling people they can't have a home like she has or move around the country like she did, because that would be wrong (but ok when she did it). is probably worse that the silent position she normally adopts.
